News and Updates for August 2018

Hey everyone! How has your summer been? (Or winter for those down under?)

May through June is typically when I take on a temp project that keeps me away from here, and this year was no exception. In addition, K graduated college with honors this past June, and we couldn’t be more proud! She spent the bulk of the summer home before heading off to an internship, and it was great to have her back. I’ll admit I let the blog go quiet during this time, but it was the right thing to do as this may have been the last time she lives under our roof. Kids do, indeed, grow up!

In other news, I received rather disappointing news that my newsletter host, MailerLite, has had some issues with deliverability (ie, getting the newsletter to you). This is likely due to a few bad actors ruining it for all of us. So, until that is resolved, my newsletter is on hold. I enjoy using MailerLite, but may need to rethink things this coming autumn.

As for books, I still have two under consideration, and have a few articles coming up for Autism Asperger’s Digest. One is co-written with Marla Roth-Fisch, and I can’t wait to reveal it to you when it’s time!

Speaking of writing, expect things to get a little eclectic over here at the blog. As much as I enjoy writing about Asperger’s, I enjoy talking about other topics, too. Expect to see the occasional health related post, blogs pieces on writing, as well as some odds and ends. If there are things you’d like to see more of on this blog, do let me know in the comments below! Thanks!

For now, we’re looking forward to autumn, when the temps drop below 90 and the porch is once again inviting.

Wishing you all the best,

Julie
